About the colour, we select the unique gray of iron ore underground ironstone. The feeling of time tunnel which is built by the linear lighting would connect the modern times with the past, let the whole central control hall design flavour to be uncopyable and unique.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Daye iron ore has a long exploitation history. we have exploited for over 1700 years until now.The rest mine resources exploitation age limit is less than 10 years. Our enterprise would make use of the long iron ore exploitation history, and convert it to tourism industry. In order to not make the waste due to the repeated investments, when we design the central control hall, we give consideration to exhibition function, that is to meet the requirements of current enterprise central control operation, and also offer a small-scale museum for the future tourism development.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
With the development of the society, the land resource is gradually reduced in China. The contradiction between the old building and current peoples’ needs is gradually outstanding. Demolition and construction violently are to a great extent. In China, housing demolition at early time would waste hundred billion yuan. How to utilize the old building is becoming an unavoidable question.

CHALLENGE:
Design difficult point: 1. The storey height of original building is 15.6 meters. The lower storey height of truss is 11.6 meters. In order to save the energy and reduce the emission, we add transition layer on the top surface of the original building, which reduce the top surface of the hall to 7 meters. 2. This project is currently the first mine intelligent management center of China, so it shall meet the functional needs of current central control center, meanwhile, it shall avoid the interference of visitors to the operation staff. 3. It would be changed into industrial legacy museum after 10 years. So, we shall guarantee that the existing central control function can be preserved, which can also meet the requirements that the needed exhibition space shall be preserved for the future.

PROFILE:
This is an old workshop, which was built 50 years ago and was discarded for several years. Now, it is relived from the discarded state, and had been changed to Daye Iron Ore Intelligent Management Center. The exploitation history of Daye Iron Ore is long. So far, it is over 1700 years. The iron ore is nearly exhausted, and the rest minerals resource exploitation year is less than 10 years. The enterprise would utilize the long iron ore exploitation history of this enterprise, and change it to tourism industry. In order to not cause waste due to the repeated investments, the designer gives consideration to centralized-control hall and exhibition function. That is to meet the current enterprise centralized-control operation function, and would offer a small museum for the future tourism development. In order to conform to the usage function of the management center and create funny office environment, the designer has paid special attention to deal with the relationship of people and building, people and environment, people and transportation, people and space, people and people in the design. In line with the principles of “practical, economical and beautiful”, he selects “bilateral shunting” design technique to set the gallery as the visiting channel, and reduces the interference of visitors in the centralized-control operation to the minimum. The inspiration of internal space form is from the iron ore underground tunnel space form enlightenment, which breeds the arch styling of the internal space. About the colour, he selects the unique “grey” of the iron ore underground ironstone as the dominant color. The time tunnel feeling which is created by the linear lighting organically connects the modern with the past, which let the design style of the whole centralized-control hall possess noncopyable enterprise uniqueness. About the whole centralized-control hall, he selects 4000K20W LED anti-glare tube lights, which would guarantee that the hall is evenly lighted, meanwhile, the cool feeling is reduced. The hall top surface 4X8 linear lighting would be opened when shifting, that is not to interfere with the inference in the big screen during the working period, meanwhile, it would bring certain environmental changes for the shifting. In order to avoid the light to interfere with the operation staff, there is no lighting equipment apart from the temporarily opened linear light from the operation desk to the big screen region when shifting. He adds garden greening in the indoors, which not only let the interior space become more funny but also closely connects the indoor and outdoor parts. And let them become one part.
