| DESIGN NAME: Race Eleven PRIMARY FUNCTION: Electric Folding Scooter INSPIRATION: Since 2018, Red Bull Racing embraces a new approach, which promotes the environmental sustainability in its supply chain towards a greener business. This is the present mission of Red Bull Racing, whilst never forgetting the unrelenting desire to be innovative. Race Eleven is the realization of these features into reality: innovative, sustainable, non-conformist, sporty, powerful. This electric scooter is inspired by and created for exploring the world around you while respecting it. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Race Eleven is a unique electric folding scooter which combines design and style of Red Bull Racing cars with our knowledge in the electric mobility world. With outstanding design, battery and motor, it grants high performances for daily commute, city ride or off-roading. It features great suspensions and sturdy wheels, ensuring durability, power and comfort. With specialized technology, this Red Bull Racing electric scooter can be completely folded to be carried anywhere. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Race Eleven is an electric scooter easy to ride thanks to its strong wheels which ensure good road holding and safety on all types of streets. Through its folding mechanism, it can be carried anywhere or fit in any car trunk. The LCD display keeps updated the rider about the electric scooter status. In few hours the Race Eleven will be fully charged and ready for the next journey. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Milano (Italy) in November 2021. The product was displayed at CES in Las Vegas (January 2022) and will be displayed at the Ifa Show (September 2022). It is going to be distributed in the major countries all over the world. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Race Eleven was designed paying attention to both technical characteristics (such as frame, wheels and suspensions) and electric parts safe protection. Thanks to the powerful 61V18Ah battery and the 500W efficient motor, the electric scooter reaches high performances from the first use. It is produced under the certified standard of EN17128. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The height and length of the electric scooter is 130 cm. The maximum tolerable loading weight of the final user is 100Kg. The LCD handlebar display helps the rider to keep everything under control and it shows essential functions (such as lights, current speed, battery level etc.). The powerful motor reaches 500W and the battery capacity is 61V18Ah, granting a travel up to 50/60km with one charge. The front and rear disc brakes and lights allow the user to fully enjoy the ride in safety. The aim is to combine a detailed design with the green technology to create a product not only of great design but also of high performances. CHALLENGE: The creative challenge of the Race Eleven project was to develop an electric folding scooter which may convey at first sight its high-quality to the final user by highlighting the components through a modern design and perfect geometry. This project aims to challenge the status quo of the electric scooter, considering it not only as an object for fun but also a means of high design and safe to use.
