DESIGN NAME: Saxe Blue
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential
INSPIRATION: The designers introduced elements of phentermine and healthy building materials into the interior design. At the same time, the designers also planned a natural and comfortable space to provide a fresh and healthy environment for the female client who suffers from a nasal allergy. The designers take (Saxe blue) with a touch of gray as the main conception, using the image of the (Elbe River) as the concept for the main space ceiling, with its twist-and-turn design resembling river branches, and indigo paint color contributing to waterway impression.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Given the importance of ventilation, orientation, and natural lighting, the designers cleverly use locations of the windows and new partitions to connect the whole layout and design. At the entryway, the designers mark a portion of the hallway for shoe cabinets and keep the living room space with a lower TV wall mount. To make the home light, airy, and spacious, the kitchen area is shielded by transparent reeded glass with two large windows facing outward. The selected electric blinds allow flexibility in adjusting the openness of space while keeping a degree of privacy.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The space in this project is about 396 square meters. As the client has fewer family members, the designers, in order to create a feeling of centralized gathering space, discarded clear boundaries to avoid too many separated compartments that would make the house look cold and empty. The designers configured the layout of the windows to create a clean and open space. Natural and non-toxic building materials are selected by the designers while the breathable, safe, white latex paint that does not emit harmful substances matches the European woodwork molding to present the unique brightness belonging to European aesthetics in detail.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in October 2021 in Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To keep the spaces in line with the natural landscape and the client's health consciousness, F1-grade green building LVL as the principal wooden materials, together with the eco-friendly latex paints. Eco-friendly recyclable panel systems are used for shoe cabinets in the entryway and smaller cabinets in the bedroom area to minimize the use of materials. To better reveal beautiful scenery outside the windows, the designers select electric blinds with excellent light-filtering functions to properly light the room which is also equipped with customized, durable, and environmentally-friendly LED lighting.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project has a ceiling height of 400cm, and the height under the beam between the living room and the entryway is only 353cm, while many exposed pipes on the ceiling cause a visual obstruction. Therefore, the designers use the unique ceiling shape in Saxe Blue to reduce the feelings imposed by the beams. Finally, the four-section woodwork design, combined with gaps created by a 45-degree lead angle establishes a pleasing aesthetic highlight.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project with its serene hillside views, extending from nature to space, environment to dwelling, is a continuation of the client's time taking in the splendid scenery and an ideal start of his peaceful retirement. After designers evaluated the topography of the building site, client's preference, surroundings, and other factors, the design concept is applied to each block of space with a smooth traffic flow planning, aiming to integrate nature into living space and to create a ventilated space with abundant light. Sufficient built-in storage and organization completes the functionality of the living experience
CHALLENGE: Since this project is on a hillside, all the large materials were delivered during restricted hours and must take place within the specified time. Furthermore, the required ironwork and glass have to be customized in extra-large sizes because the ceiling of buildings has pipelines on them and is much higher than that of ordinary residences. To meet challenges in design, construction, and transportation, a 3.5-ton truck had to carry special-sized materials. The designers took great pains to communicate and coordinate with all parties to overcome external factors during the process of completing the ideal work.
