| DESIGN NAME: Minach PRIMARY FUNCTION: Watch INSPIRATION: Minach is designed according to the approach of minimalism. Extras removed and only time displayed. Showing time in the simplest possible way has been one of the goals of this project. Minach is a minimalist and almost faceless design with maximum simplification, and has a clean, simple and at the same time attractive appearance. The watch face is simple, without signs and symbols to keep the visual appearance to a minimum. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This minimal clock uses the simple movement of the hands to indicate time. The most important feature of this watch is its simple and attractive form as well as how to adjust its hands. Normally on most watches, the hands are adjustable with a button on the side of the body. But in this design, the time adjustment button is located in the middle of the body and on the hands. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In its simplest form, time is indicated by two hands, a Clock counter and a minute counter. You can adjust the hands by pressing the middle button and turning it. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: It started in Esfarayen, Iran in July 2021 and finished in Desember 2021. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Minach is made of stainless steel in two colors, dark and light, and with hidden straps. Which connects the strap seamlessly. The concave glass is made of polished mineral crystal. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 43 mm x Depth 43 mm x Height 9 mm TAGS: watch, fashion, unique, Minimalilsm, Minimalist, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research was conducted on products with a minimalist approach, as well as minimal watches, and the design of a special, simple, yet attractive watch was targeted by the project. CHALLENGE: The most challenging part of the design was how to remove the features of a regular watch and still show the time in its simplest form. How to adjust the hands was also one of the challenging points of the project. Normally on most watches, the hands are adjustable with a button on the side of the body. But in this design, the time adjustment button is located in the middle of the body and on the hands.
