| DESIGN NAME: Moon Light Basin PRIMARY FUNCTION: VIP Lounge INSPIRATION: Night marks the transition from dream to reality. Walking inside the dream-like setting in the dim moonlight adds to the poetic feel of the place. People appear to enter another directional place as a result of the smooth traffic, and they can feel a sense of serenity and stability as a result of the cascading wrapping. Without the influence of others, enjoy the interchange of little drinks, like the ancient Chinese did. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a guest house in a commercial office building with a rectangular space with only one exit and light. The independence and wrapping of the space require special consideration due to the requirement to consider sound insulation and the use of the majority of people. The focus of this project is on how to make effective use of artificial light to increase the richness of the environment and produce the maximum number of users in a single light and limited space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We build the space in the shape of a curved wall so that the space can be covered in multiple layers to add richness and interest. The curving traffic space not only directs people to their goal, but it also diffuses light. In the more constricted aisle region, we also employ mirrors to increase the sensation of visual expansiveness and to extend the light transmission function into the less illuminated parts. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In addition to the curved construction of the space partition, we use a double wall construction method to improve sound insulation and maximize space. Also, to solve the problem of buffering audio reflection, natural stone texture foam board is used. In addition to the buffering effect, the uneven roughness of the surface can cause audio reflection to be disrupted, reducing the problem of echo in confined spaces. Furthermore, natural stone foam panels can help to alleviate the issue of over-exploitation of natural stone. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The apartment is 198 square meters. TAGS: salon, modern, simple, low luxury, guest house, guest room, VIP Lounge RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We gathered the acoustics literature and research on the effects of various materials on sound transmission, as well as the use of an asymmetric wall shape to solve the echo problem caused by sound. To absorb and lessen the sound created by the audio-visual entertainment area, we also employ flexible foam wall material and a double wall approach. CHALLENGE: The goal is to accommodate as many people as possible in a space with a variety of functions while minimizing sound interference from audio-visual entertainment equipment.
