| DESIGN NAME: Ding Sing PRIMARY FUNCTION: Spicy Hot Pot Restaurant INSPIRATION: Taiwan culture is all inclusive. Due to historical reasons, Chinese north and South cultures have been perfectly integrated, thus creating Taiwan's unique local culture. However, the glory of the four little dragons in Asia has long disappeared. The profound cultural heritage and stagnant economy have enabled Taiwan to grow a "small indeed lucky" culture and a small and definite happiness. Taiwan spicy hot pot are just like this small indeed lucky, small cool and spicy, small warm and moist. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Ding Sing is full of Taiwan's small indeed lucky. Taiwan is the hometown of Kongming Lantern. The custom of flying sky lanterns vividly shows the cultural characteristics of "small and auspicious". The space creativity of Lantern blessing turns clear height into sky. designs lamps with Kongming Lantern shape, The private room is designed as a big Lantern to lead the Lantern of the whole space. The storefront is a curved shape, and its surface is cut into multiple curved surfaces by multi segment curves, which expresses the characteristics of Taiwan's marine culture. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Outside the store, guests can buy freshly made milk tea through the window. Maybe they will go indoors through the gate. Looking up, they can see the friends dining by the fence on the second floor. They are watching the film projected on the opposite wall. In the distance is a huge Kongming light Private Room. It is the center of the whole restaurant. In the Private Room is 8-person tatami. If guests come with many friends, they can have dinner in the area Under the attic, where there are three groups of 6-person round tables. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The gate of the restaurant is made of pure copper. The longer the entrance steps are used, the brighter they will be. The door surface is curved surface modeling, and the material uses aluminum plate to carve patterns and print wood patterns. The indoor chandelier is made of old frosted glass, which presents the texture of paper after light transmission. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The indoor area is 421 square meters, and the space is divided into two floors. The first floor area is 296 square meters and the partition area is 125 square meters. TAGS: Taiwan Culture, Breath of life, Elegant, relaxed, owntown streets, ongming latern, pray for auspiciousness RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The front of the restaurant is composed of multiple curved surfaces, which are spliced with Carved aluminum plate, separated by gold stainless steel strips embedded in the middle. According to the wood texture used in the store, Three different printed films were made for printing three different wood grain aluminum plates. Combined with the curve of the wall, the mold is made to bend and press the aluminum plate. The formed aluminum plate shall be pre assembled in the processing plant and re adjusted and assembled on site after disassembly. CHALLENGE: Many steel columns slant through the dining room space, and the roof is arc-shaped, The fragmentation of the space has affected the normal use of the space. The space is 7m high, The design of lighting and the installation of lamps are difficult. Go back to the brand culture and find solutions from cultural creativity. The design scheme should not only reflect the brand culture, but also reflect the spatial characteristics to avoid spatial defects. Inspired by the custom of flying sky lanterns in Taiwan. The four inclined columns that run through the most space are hidden in the private room made of large sky lanterns. A large number of small chandeliers are designed in the form of sky lamps, which solves the problem of desktop lighting. Groups of small sky lanterns also show the beautiful picture of flying sky lanterns. The arc-shaped roof is painted dark gray, as if hidden, turning into a dark sky at night.
