When tasting tea, users can not only experience the richly layered aroma of tea, but also savor the culture of tea ceremony that continues in the history.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Qin Bricks and Han Tiles gift box is a Qinhan themed combination of raw and cooked Pu er brick tea. The raw tea Qin Brick and the cooked tea Han Tile are wrapped in cotton papers decorated with totems of national features and historic culture. The Qin Bricks are wrapped by a dragon pattern totem, meaning The Qin Dynasty realized the unity of Chinese territory, and the Han Tiles are by a graphic of ancient Chinese tea craftsmanship. The concept of boosting recycling is also put forward for recycling the paper pulp.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
In line with the Zen and mysterious artistic qualities of the Chinese tea ceremony , it uses a gift box with an additional envelope for the best sealing effect. The envelope is designed with tearable paper, whose outline derives from the Great Wall of the Qin and Han. When it is torn, a gold stamping graphic of the battlefield will be vividly in sight. It not only enhances its artistic value, but destroys its outer packaging, prompting users to discard it, boosting the recycling of materials.

Both the bag and envelope adopt the techniques of embossing and gold stamping, the embossed textures of which touches more layered. The gold stamping graphic of chariots galloping the battlefields reinvigorates the package and increases its nobility as a gift. RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Qin Dynasty is warlike while Han Dynasty likes tea. The design team studied the history of the Qin and Han Dynasties in depth and merged the terracotta warriors and chariots at battlefields and the ancient Chinese tea-making techniques as the theme in the tea packaging, realizing the combination of Pu er tea culture and Chinese culture. Through this, the brand hopes to exhibit Chinese long historical tradition and its cultural treasures, and to recommend Chinese tea ceremony to the world.

CHALLENGE:
The Qin Bricks and Han Tiles gift box, with its original tea brick shape, outshines other homogeneous tea packaging on the market, and gives the tea products richer cultural connotation and gift-giving taste. During the design process, the main difficulty was how to give the tea products a distinctive shape and a matched cultural air. The design team started from the long history of Chinese tea ceremony and linked it to the Qin and Han dynasties to create this tea gift box of national features.
