| DESIGN NAME: Love Veggie PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: What is more, by enhancing the details of the lotus, which is deeply related to the Buddhism, the design team have generated an extraordinary calm atmosphere of the restaurant. Laser cut metal lotus pattern and smooth blue upholstery create an organic, natural elegance. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Bringing a Macau well known tradition veggie restaurant into 21st century, this new branch restaurant is designed to provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. From this inspiration, the design team converted lotus image to the materials, patterns and forms. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Laser cut gold color metal, blue upholstery, Wood veneer SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The site is approx. 350 square meters. TAGS: veggie, restaurant, lotus, calm, blue RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This new branch restaurant is designed to provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. From this inspiration, the design team converted lotus image to the materials, patterns and forms. What is more, by enhancing the details of the lotus, which is deeply related to the Buddhism, the design team have generated an extraordinary calm atmosphere of the restaurant. CHALLENGE: The main featured lighting is the most challenge, especially the custom made procedure of fabrication and installation.
