| DESIGN NAME: Mango PRIMARY FUNCTION: Demonstration Office INSPIRATION: The inspiration is from the name of the proposed company - Mango. Designer not only applied the colour of Mango yellow, and also curve lines and forms. The creative curve shapes helped to highlight the theme and break the rectangular box. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is demonstration office project for the developer. Designer proposed the theme of Mango advertising company for the project. As the potential clients of the unit to be young and energetic. Besides, yellow(13-0647) and grey(17-5104) are the pantone colours of 2021. designer cleverly used this colour combination in the project to match the update market. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As it is a demonstration unit, so traffic flow is very important. Customers come from the entrance, then there is a little bar pantry where people would rest and chat. then they can walk through the office area, then go up to the director area and meeting room. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February, 2021 in Xian, China and finished in July, 2021. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main materials are carpet, tiles, wall papers, metals and glasses. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is around 6m width, 9.5m depth, 5m height. Finally they finalized the young and tendy theme. "Mango" advertising company was proposed. The designer not only applied mango yellow colour, but also creative curve shapes, forms, even furniture in the space. CHALLENGE: The main challenge was designer had only limited space, budget and construction time. Besides, design team needes to think creative curve lines and forms within the small box. Finally the accent "Mango" colour belt was created from the stair to the mezzanine floor.
