| DESIGN NAME: Maitreya Oriental Magnolia Garden G2 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Model House INSPIRATION: With less decoration and more blank-leaving, we have created a modern minimalist interior space with a casual and relaxing family atmosphere and a rich sense of visual layers, so that the residents can better feel the warmth of home. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a modern minimalist interior design work with the core concept of home atmosphere. Light colors are used as the base color in this work, and different areas are designed with keywords respectively, e.g., languor and comfort as the tones of articles in the living room, elite and lucidity for the study, etc. Though every area has its own distinctive style, the essence of the design is uniform but rich in visual effects. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The public areas are designed to reflect a sense of leisure, and a simpler and clearer layout is used to create a vast and transparent space. The private space emphasizes the concept of comfort and zero stress. Thus, grayish white is used as the tone of the room, and streamlined furniture is adopted to create a smooth visual experience, avoiding complex lighting or detailed configurations. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was launched in March 2021 in Mile, Yunnan. It finished its early-stage work in May 2021 and was debuted in May 2021. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Wall material: leather hard wall coverings, wall cloth hard wall coverings Living room floor: natural marble-covered floor Bathroom and kitchen wall: use new material slate to cover the wall Custom-made main sofa: solid wood structure, velvet pillows, fabric finish, sponge, metal Abstract art painting: hand-made metal texture pattern Customized lighting: customized magnetic track light SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: For a more layered appearance, this work endows different functional areas with various keywords as themes, such as languor and comfort for the living room, elite and lucidity for the study, art and exquisiteness for the dining room, etc. Thus, the visual and functional needs of users can be met to the greatest extent. CHALLENGE: The most difficult part of this work is the proportion of blank-leaving and the unity between different themes. For different people, the definition of the concept of home varies. But for people living in modern society, the role of home is definitely more than a place for leisure, and should have various contents that meet the living habits and aesthetics of owners on the basis of leisure.
