PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wine Packaging
INSPIRATION: Our inspiration comes from traditional Chinese freehand landscape painting techniques, combined with modern abstract design language, forming the wine labels with different leveled bumps and specific cutouts, we present the Great Wall in its most majestic form, highly recognizable from afar. Exquisite illustration of the Great Wall mountains blends into the wine label. Emphasizing on the number "nine" in Chinese relates more to Chinese consumers, and also labels the quality grade of the product.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Great Wall can be said to be Chinese people's doorway to experiencing the charm of wine. It has been the leading wine product in the Chinese consumer market in terms of production and sales since the 1970s. Generations of people have gone through strict selection for the best locations for grape farming, cultivation, brewing, and storage, ensuring the best flavour of the wine.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: How to save consumer's effort to look for an ideal product is the key challenge of this case. A distinctive symbol, a bright color, an explicit layout of info and a unitive serial system of package will help Wellmind to solve the problem, where consumers are able to recognize and pick up the products from far away.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project lasts 2 months, designed in Shenzhen and produced in Penglai, Shandong.
