| DESIGN NAME: All-Around Inspired College PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kindergarten INSPIRATION: In the external image, the abstract "book" is used to express the accumulation of knowledge and to deliver the diversity and internationalization of the school's curriculum. Meanwhile, the inner space with its elegant preppy style, symbolizes the rich intellectual heritage of all-around inspired college, a renowned European institution. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The college has designed eight characteristic experiential courses based on the concept of growing in interest. As "all-around inspired college" is a children's academy with wide range of interests, a multidimensional treasure trove of knowledge is waiting to be discovered. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Eight interest courses are provided, which are considered in the interior design at the same time: 1. Humanized design (ergonomics and psychological care for children) 2. Safety design (physical protection, health and epidemic prevention and safe evacuation) 3. Heuristic design (creating a corresponding space atmosphere according to the course theme) actively transmits the core concept of MAS "environment is teaching". PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was located in Guangzhou, China. The design was started in march 2020, and finished in May 2020. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: E0 environmental protection materials and easy procurement and transportation convenience; Fire rating above B1; Reasonable budget control; High-quality structural transformation; Integration of electromechanical and structural equipment to facilitate the project The execution is effective, precise and appropriate. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The college is covering an area of 469 square meters. TAGS: Children, parents and children, education, technology, games, interaction, experience, institute RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project is located in the office building, it was a empty space with single-sided daylighting. Due to the lack of children's sanitary equipment in the base, it is necessary to consider how to reasonably integrate the sanitary facilities into the space for children in coordination with the existing pipeline during space planning. CHALLENGE: The European design style with childish view establishes unique characteristics for the college. In addition to providing students and parents waiting for playing games, the arc shaped dimensional recreation space naturally forms a field separation between the performance area and the viewing area when the whole public area is included in holding activities, so that the ingenious use of design makes the space multi-functional in the narrow and densely populated place of Guangzhou, which is highly praised. The distinctive classroom space and book wall not only attract the attention of parents and children, but also achieve the publicity effect for the school.
