PRIMARY FUNCTION: Inventory Management Robot
INSPIRATION: Traditional manual inventory tracking for huge warehouse takes a lot of time and efforts. and it often can’t keep up with the material flow speed due to low efficiency resulting in inventory data lag and chaotic management and waste of a great amount of manpower and resources. At present, there is no intelligent inventory tracking solution for high-level warehousing racks.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Youibot robotics and sf supply chain jointly developed an intelligent inventory tracking solution for huge warehouses with high racks. The ARIS-IMR equipped with lifting module enables to complete an autonomous inventory tracking in a warehouse of nearly 30,000 square meters with up to 15 meters of high racks within 11.5 hours.The aris-imr performs inventory tracking tasks at daytime and night continuously.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The user is able to remotely issue tasks to the robot. The robot can perform tasks automatically without any labors onsite (night, weekend). Then it generates a task report and send it to the user.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The single-time running lasts over 20 hours. The scanning range covers 15 mm to 15 meters in the high rack.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: When exploring the warehousing automation of in a large scale warehouse of a world-famous supply chain enterprise,YOUIBOT developed the ARIS-IMR (intelligent inventory tracking robot )to effectively solve the problems caused by manual inventory in the super huge warehouse, chaotic material management, low-level informationization etc,. This solution has changed the traditional inventory management and made huge difference for intelligent warehousing industry,which is a milestone in the global warehousing industry
CHALLENGE: There are a large number of cargo locations with different specifications in a large scale warehouse of a world-famous supply chain enterprise whose max height is up to 12 meters. It is challenging for existing robot on the market to lif the sensor up to this height. The ARIS-IMR equipped with mast and scanning device succeeds in dealing with the problem of cargo locations with various of height as the ARIS-IMR ’s mast moves up to the top shelf of rack (up to 12-15m )and lowers down to position 15mm away from ground. Its scanning module covers a range of 1.8 meters and is able to scan barcodes on pallets and goods. The robot uses a pneumatic device to precisely control the height so that it scans and records the barcode level by level in the order from high rack to low rack or from low rack to high rack .
