DESIGN NAME: Bellagio
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Living Space
INSPIRATION: Do you know that Hong Kong is a small place? Already work for a half entire life, finally facing the harvest period. Client couple would like to slow down a little bit, think about the future of life. Therefore, they decided to renovation of their home for future retirement. Learned of this, designer uses a open-plan style, and according to clients' living habit to design the house. Open-plan design unleashes space potential, it brights more different feelings to the visual, broaden your horizons.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Open-plan design makes the light ray comes from different sides, increase the sense of space. About the color and materials, designer mainly uses dark wood color, and floor uses grey marble with clean vein lines. Wood and stone elements enrich the visual. In the living room, designer set up a electric stove, also designed two glass doors cabinet with wood pattern, makes warm firewood mood.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the living room, use three big windows to make it more bright, and increase the sense of the space.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July of 2021 and Finished in September of 2021 in Hong Kong.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Wood, the mainly material use into the design. This nature material can makes a good balance with others, no matter color or the visual of the space.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project size is 950 square feet, including 1 bedroom, closet, open kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a living space

CHALLENGE: For the spatial planing, we use open-plan to design the house as the original compartment was very narrow and bored.
