| DESIGN NAME: Sincere Garden PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: Inspired by the historical and cultural heritage of the city of Wuhan, the space design finds the balance between oriental esthetic themes with the local context. The simplicity and charm of the building is extended to the indoor space through modern materials and craftsmanship, and the oriental architectural symbols are simplified in the space design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Sincere Garden Sales Center features the ritual structure of eaves, the wood veined aluminum finishes, and the traditional tenon and mortise structure in detail. The peaceful, reserved, introverted, and tolerant character of the orientals are integrated with the living ideal of returning to nature in the project. The large area of glass brings sufficient lighting, which shortens the distance between indoor and outdoor. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The client is satisfied with the design and completion result. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in June 2020, in Wuhan, China. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The building adopts a gray palette, transparent glass, imitation stone paint, and a blending with aluminum plate and stone, showing the texture aesthetics of the building; while the interior design is based on the concept of "restoring nature", so, the wood veneer with annual rings is used to echo with the ancient camphor trees in the garden. What's more, off-white sandstone, black stone floor, walnut veneer and partial bright copper create a natural and calm atmosphere. The furniture surface chooses natural-textured solid wood and oily wax texture combined with some distressed leather to reveal the traces of time. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Since the elegance of architecture and landscape, as well as the purity of artistry are the pursuit of modern people, the project is intended to create an aesthetic masterpiece from the planning stage. It tries to create an ideal life style, where the building is integrated in the nature. No matter how times change, the beauty is just here. TAGS: interior design, sales center, color, material, modern RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Every classic masterpiece is imprinted with the trace of time. The Guiyu Lanting Aesthetics Center incorporates a unique understanding of contemporary life. A vertical homecoming axis and a horizontal landscape belt connect the central swimming pool and the theme garden, where a poetic dwelling atmosphere is created through the balance of architecture, interior and landscape. CHALLENGE: One of the challenges is how to integrate the minimalist aesthetics of the building facade with the old oriental style of the interior design. In order to balance the modern and classic through the soft decoration materials and colors, the design team proposed several design plans. Finally, after communication and cooperation between various departments, it appeared the most ideal effect.
