| DESIGN NAME: Ginkgo Swan Lake PRIMARY FUNCTION: Signage System INSPIRATION: The design is inspired by "swan" and "ginkgo". The shape and color are extracted from pictographic elements. The outline of ginkgo leaves and the pure whiteness of swan compose the unique rhythm of the park. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The whole guide system retains the purity, tranquility and eternity in the first impression of Ginkgo Swan Lake. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: According to the scientific layout, different play routes are formed in the park, and visitors are rationally diverted. The graphics and text information in different shapes are interacted to play a role of beautification and guidance. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was designed and produced in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China in May 2019. It will be completed in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, China in March 2020, and will be opened in Jiaxing City in April 2020. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The manufacturing process of the steel plate hollow, the day and night light and shadow are clear, and endow the card body with a long service life. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Personalized customization, multiple styles become a guide system, not a single product, it belongs to a series of theme graphic design. TAGS: Ginkgo biloba, swan, purity, tranquility, information interaction, guide RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The type of research is applied research. It is hoped that through research, a systematic guide design for the park will be carried out. The research will use on-site inspections, combined with ergonomics, to enhance the overall image of the park from the three perspectives of playability, functionality and aesthetics, and travel for tourists. Play brings a good experience and enhance the happiness of travel. CHALLENGE: The seemingly simple shape is directly made with a thick stainless steel plate. The most difficult part is to see the light source components without destroying the aesthetics of the shape.
