| DESIGN NAME: Luxuriate PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ring INSPIRATION: Luxuriate uses nature as a mysterious source of inspiration, which tells the story of the growth of several branches of a single seed and the movement and pressure on the layers of the earth that leads to the splitting of the earth, against the soft plant, and after rather sometimes slow and sometimes erratic movements that even effect the environment, reaches its growth and perfectness. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The movement of the Protrusion strands from inside the ring, then their protrusion from the gap created on the body of the work and then at the same time moving on the wavy surface and opening them from each other and combining with stones with natural cuts absorbs the viewer's attention and stronger the connection with the artifact. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Being able to make changes to an inherently fixed artifact transmits excitement to the user, in which adjusting the placement of the strings on top of Luxuriate and achieving the desired visual effect causes more connection with Luxuriate as a part of the nature and a work inspired from it which the user can now hold it at the palm of his hands. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The ideation of the design and its designing started at a swift 9time in early April 2021 and on May 10, 2021, it was completed in Iran and the city of Tabriz. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design is made after being modeled matrix and zbrush and using 3D printing method and direct casting, as well as using the art of hands to place and adjust the strings and stones. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The shank of the piece can be made for any size, which increases from the ending point with a width of 5 mm to the top point with a width of 13 mm in an increasing manner, And the strings start from the inside of the work with a longer length than the circumference of the design itself and are located at the top and at a distance of about one centimeter from the surface of the work. TAGS: Plant, life, ring, change, growth RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Immersion in the nature and studies on the growth stages of different types of plants led to a common result of how they grow and revealed that a small seed has the power to give birth to a powerful multibranched plant and accompany the plant up to its full growth and fertility and beauty. CHALLENGE: An important challenge of this design is to depict nature in art and especially jewelry in a wayas if it is a theatrical scene for the designer to illustrate a story, while using the art, creates a deep connection with the user to remind everyone, that nature as the main soulof all humans has been forgotten, will be reminisced and enjoy the work of art.
