| DESIGN NAME: Ying Hua Qing Su PRIMARY FUNCTION: Packaging INSPIRATION: When you see a cherry blossom petal falling on the lake, with breeze, the scenery is charming, which represents the characteristics of Wuhan. The name of the gift box is closely related to cherry blossom. As a companion gift of cherry blossom season in Wuhan, designers hope to integrate this beautiful landscape into the packaging design and keep it forever, so that customers can remember this moment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The front of the gift box is covered with cherry blossoms, which are matched with landmark buildings in Wuhan, swallows with love letters and characters in the 1990s, showing the vitality of spring, local characteristics and romantic feelings of retro; The design of the inner box can be cleverly folded into the shape of cherry blossom, matching with the blue bottom box of the lake, forming the aesthetic feeling of "Cherry Blossom falling on the lake". OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The inner box needs to be opened slowly along the petals to see the flower cake wrapped with tin foil. After eating, the inner box can be folded along the petals for decoration, and the outer box can be used as a storage box. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Coated paper with gray board, hot Blue Gold SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 396mm * 336mm * 55mm The biggest highlight is that the inner box can be folded and formed without glue and nails, which is more environmentally friendly and healthy. Consumers can also be used as decorations to achieve environmental protection to the greatest extent. TAGS: Packaging gift box, cherry blossom, Wuhan,Retro, romantic gift box, pastry RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to create a gift box that can represent the characteristics of cherry blossoms in Wuhan, the designer went to several Cherry Blossom sites in Wuhan to experience and find the real emotional needs of people. The beauty of cherry blossoms is very short-lived, and people hope to keep it forever. Using this idea, the designer applies the beauty of "cherry blossoms falling from Jinghu" to the whole product design, At the same time, Wuhan's characteristic buildings and characters of the 1990s are added to push the city's characteristics and emotional expression to a new height. CHALLENGE: The biggest difficulty of this packaging lies in the structure of the inner box. How to fold a box into a cherry blossom without glue and nails, and open it is also a cherry blossom. The designer needs to optimize the structure to make the box fold more smoothly to improve the production efficiency. After dozens of experiments, the best effect is finally achieved.
