PRIMARY FUNCTION: Optical Shop
INSPIRATION: The human eye likes contrast, contrast of colors, textures and forms. The organ of vision determines whether something is beautiful or not. He notices rhythm, dominant, light and shadow. The interior is built with a composition: linear, central, horizontal, vertical, rhythmic. What is important is the contrast between solid and light forms, a combination of contrasting colors, a smooth surface and the structure of the wood. The product is presented "in the light" of the horizontal.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The artistic concept assumes building space with a line. Composition, contrast, proportion and detail are important. New interior arrangement. The display forms are located at the walls and consist of illuminated shelves at eye level and below the storage systems. The center has a multifunctional form: a place for customer consultation, a sales section, an exhibition and storage.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Human, senses, product. The interior as a whole. Customer and service zones intersect. The interior is perceived by the sense of sight, as is the product for sale that improves eyesight.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The display elements are made of a white semi-matt laminated board and a natural veneer board in the color of Antique Oak. The floor is covered with a vinyl flooring for public utility buildings with medium and high traffic intensity.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research topic: Interior perceived as beautiful.
Purpose of the research: To define what influences the perception of the interior as interesting for the human eye.
Research method: analysis on selected examples.
The conclusions allowed to state that factors such as: rhythm, contrast, structure, proportion, detail influence the reception of an interior as beautiful.
CHALLENGE: A small space and at the same time prestigious. An interior designer was hired to design an optical design of a higher standard than the investor's existing stores. It was important that about 500 glasses frames were displayed inside.
