| DESIGN NAME: Six Financial Information Singapore PRIMARY FUNCTION: Workplace INSPIRATION: At the initial stage of the project, ID Integrated have been given a draft plan which painted the preliminary idea and headcount/rooms requirement for the space. We digested the information and proceeded to develop it. We had in mind a series of green-labelled materials which we intended to propose to SIX because of a concept which we have derive at. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Located at Vision Crest Commercial sits the new home of SIX Financial, a financial technology company. Our client at SIX has requested to design 30-40% of their new workspaces as collaborative work areas. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We especially love the aesthetics and function of SIX’s front of house which sports a Reception, Arena as well as the work cafe. The flow of these spaces is smooth and organic. Accented with green elements and backed with generous use of timber-look surfaces, the front of house is truly warm and inviting. The reception comes with a backlit logo contrasted against the backdrop of preserved moss, thereby giving any visitors a welcoming first impression. As we step into the work cafe, one could not help but feel the upgraded level of comfort and conduciveness of the space. It is unconventionally casual with a set of tiered seating at the Arena to conduct a townhall meeting. It places any users of the space in a very relaxed state of mind while working, thereby increasing productivity PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Construction : 8 Weeks , Located at 103 Pinang Road , Visioncrest Commercial Building FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Sophisticated IT and security systems including imported products from Switzerland. Customized acoustic ceiling with artificial plants for sound absorption SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Total office space size: 5500 Sqft TAGS: Urban planning , design , biophilic , Technology , Greeneries RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Located at Vision Crest Commercial sits the new home of SIX Financial. Six is a financial technology company and they have requested for 30-40% of their workspace to be dedicated to be collaborative work areas. And with that IDI went to our drawing board and created for them an office which is internationally aligned in terms of corporate image. CHALLENGE: One of the challenges we needed to overcome is to find a way to give value to the space by infusing some local flavours. This gives the property an added dimension of character. That is when we decided on incorporating the Singapore’s urban planning, design and biophilic approach into SIX’s office.
