| DESIGN NAME: Woven Timber Arch PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bridge Building Block INSPIRATION: More and more people have come here, attracted by the reputation of Woven Timber Arch Bridge. The technique of Woven Timber Arch Bridge is not only long standing, but also intelligent. As an intangible cultural heritage of China, people are no longer content to just watch it. And it has become an interest of the design team to activate this intangible cultural heritage. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design team redesigns the structure of the Woven Timber Arch Bridge, in the hope of making the components more concise and eventually productizing the bridge. The design team works out nine modules. These building blocks have different structures and functions, and they can be put together into bridges of different shapes. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The building blocks have nine modules with different modules and shapes. These different building blocks can be put together to form bridges of different shapes. This challenging gameplay is very appealing. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: After 8 months, the product has been designed in January 2021.
