PRIMARY FUNCTION: Urine Bag
INSPIRATION: Urine bags are used by tens of thousands of people who are disabled to urinate by diseases and accidents to help drain their urine. Patients using urine bags suffer from both physical discomforts (including pain and peculiar odor) and physiological pressure.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a portable urine bag for patients who need to wear a urine bag when they go out. The SAP water-absorbing polymer can quickly solidify the urine, thereby reducing the odor and stabilizing the urine stored in the bag; the removable unit bag design facilitates the concealment and replacement of the bag and make the bag more lightweight. The bag additionally frees the patient from the embarrassment and psychological pressure.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The urine bag is a 1000 ml disposable container consisting of three interconnected unit bags; the leg wrapping is reusable.
Step 1: Put the bottom leggings on the proper position of the thighs, and fix the button on the disposable urine bag on the leggings.
Step 2: Press the button valve to close the channel between the unit bags when the unit bag is full.
Step 3: Remove the unit bag and discard it in an appropriate place. The second unit bag is the same.
If the unit bag is not removed, urine will flow to the previous unit bag.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2020 in Hebei and finished in January 2021 in Hebei.
