PRIMARY FUNCTION: Air Purifier
INSPIRATION: People in developing regions are facing the situation of low income and air quality issue. So the design team try to create a innovative wind tunnel to reduce manufacture complexity and cost. The design aim to allow massive low-income population a chance to improve indoor air quality. So, we redesigned the structure of the product and merged various parts such as the filter support parts, some appearance parts and the wind tunnel parts into one. Then, this product has only 5 main parts, which greatly reduces the volume and costs.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Compact Air Purifier can blend in multitype of small scale interiors to fit target customer's living condition credit to its 200m3/h CADR into a small volume. Curves at top center reveals a receiver matched with multitype of infrared remote controller, creating an overall visual center. Corner curves and clean design illuminates its elegant impression. It merges various parts such as the filter support parts, some appearance parts and the air tunnel parts into one. Then, the product has only 5 main parts, which greatly reduces the cost.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2019 in Beijing and finished in March 2020 in ShenZhen, China.
