| DESIGN NAME: Courbe PRIMARY FUNCTION: Vase INSPIRATION: Taking the traditional sheet metal bending process as the starting point, finding ways to break through the traditional limitation on bending sheet metal technique, different shapes and materials taking into account to search for new dimension on metal bending technology in order to create new shape and form, tubular metal were tried. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Breaking through the original metal bending technology that can only bending sheet metal, by designing different shapes of molds and combining existing bending processing tools, tubular metal can also be bent. The innovative processing method can bend and clamp two tubular metal pipes at the same time and combine them without any welding technology. The beautiful curvy shape produced by bending the two pipes which is one pipe within another pipe, become a unique flower vase and also can be a diffuser bottle. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In addition to large, medium and small bending craft flowers, they can be regarded as independent art items, after adding diffused branches and essential oils, it can be even more simple diffuser bottle. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: During the production process, the design and manufacturing team worked hard, because the thickness and strength of different metal pipes will cause many variables in the clamping method, and the difference in the clamping operation point will also cause completely different results. The vase can hold essential oils and spread out the favorite scent by spreading the incense sticks. It can also be used as an exquisite flower vessel to provide a beautiful experience for the senses.
