DESIGN NAME: Yoyic Huojunpaopao
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sparkling Live Probiotics Drink
INSPIRATION: We wanted to convey "the coexistence of tasty and healthy". The shape is light and elegant, aesthetically in line with our young target's pursuit of healthiness. The label is designed with light and vitality as drivers. The bold character in Chinese calligraphic design and is reminiscent of exciting moments. The bubbles let's you experience the brisk vitality of "live probiotic bubble drinks" which together with the feature "full of sparklingness" are made into a visual representation.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Sparkling drinks are trending in China, while there are very limited types of probiotic sparkling drinks. To take probiotic sparkling drinks to the next level, we have designed a brand-new product - huojunpaopao. As its name highlights, this drink contains live probiotics. The combination of sparkling lactic acid bacteria and live probiotics with low sugar and zero fat, making it uplifting and refreshing. Huojunpaopao also represents the brand yoyic, forming an iconic brand image.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: HUOJUNPAOPAO are sold mainly in convenience stores in cold chain. The advanced technology and production equipment can ensure.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2020 and ended in March 2021. Bottle sample production in Sidel Shanghai.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Yoyic huojunpaopao is the world's first live probiotic sparkling drink. Besides, in order to maintain the activity of the preferred Danish high-live probiotics in the product, we selected cold chain transportation and storage.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 388ml, PET bottle, Clear Color, Diam (max.) 64mm x Height 216 mm. We used high transparent PET materials to achieve the texture of glass.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Our goal was to satisfy the new need of the consumer for an unconventional product that was healthy and exciting at the same time. Our target are all those people who seek for new exciting experiences, who love to try new things and want to live life at its fullest but never forgetting to pay attention to healthiness and quality. Our product was born to satisfy these needs, not only from a functional point of view, but also emotionally with our packaging design.
CHALLENGE: This is a new unique product, that combines the properties of the traditional probiotic drinks with the exciting bubbling feeling of sparkling drinks. Our main challenge was to transmit the healthiness and the digestive benefits of the live probiotics using a bold and refreshing language that could gave a frizzy twist to the design.
