| DESIGN NAME: Ionia PRIMARY FUNCTION: E Bike Battery App INSPIRATION: The point we inspired in the design idea was to put the positive contribution of electrical energy to the existing humanpower at our center. With this added value, the user becomes faster, stronger and more dynamic in daily life. We wanted to include energy, dynamism and audacity that never get lost in the practice of cycling. The contrast and assertive colors and the thick, large and confident stylistic font support this situation, and we did not give up simplicity. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Ionia is a mobile e bike application where e bike users can check current data from the battery and solve battery related problems remotely without going to the service which first main purpose. Apart from the service features, we have introduced Ionia as an e bike sports application which makes many functional features related to the battery accessible in daily life with a user friendly interface. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Ionia has a user friendly interface that provides to access battery related features easily in daily usage. Ionia mobile application creates a safe riding experience for the user with its easy to follow graphics and focus enhancer dashboard layout. With Ionia, you can quickly access to battery info, check the battery level and temperature, follow up the average time, keep watch on the state of health, view battery details, control Bluetooth connection, send service and damage reports. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: App is available on the market for both iOS and Android users. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The application is designed for all Android, iOS smart phone sizes. TAGS: eBike, Healthy & Eco, Battery Capacity Display, Battery Health Display, Battery Temperature Display, Battery Information RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Vestel UX Group do user researches and A/B testing according to appropriate user group for defining exact user needs and related project guidelines. UX Group, after creating user journey maps, combines them with suitable interfaces for create better user experiences for Vestel smart device’s users. While designing these interfaces, user research insights, emotional impacts, usage scenarios, various design architecture systems and actual design trends are considered. CHALLENGE: While output purpose and the idea development process of Ionia battery application lead other companies in Turkey locally, the design process, graphics, and use of color language is globally distinguished from any other e Bike applications. With the big, bold and flashy graphics of the design make it easier to focus and understand quickly. The user has a good experience without interrupting the communication with the battery.
