DESIGN NAME: Mountain Chalet
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Private Residence
INSPIRATION: Our approach combines effective design and impeccable functionality. Both floors and the spa area have all the characteristic elements of a mountain chalet, but at the same time luxury and timeless elegance. The logic of the individual areas is determined by the idea of the house to be a place to gather friends and guests, for relaxation and pleasure.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The beautiful thread of the history of the Mountain Chalet, which dates back to the owner's childhood, spent under the wooden veranda of his grandfather's house, is strong enough to become the driving force of the project.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The ergonomic features in the space are molded to fit the user's needs in order to create a luxurious experience.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Smilovtsi, Bulgaria
|
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main focus of design in the project is the natural materials used in interior decor, wall fixtures, and floorings. Wood, natural semi-precious stones, and natural leather are the characters that shape the indoor luxury feel.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: A 440 square meters private mountain villa.
TAGS: sophisticated architecture, natural materials, semi precious stones, ambient lighting, bespoke furniture
RESEARCH ABSTRACT: For this project studio IDEA International was commissioned to enhance the standard vision of the client for a mountain house by incorporating
a timeless aesthetic and a unique bespoke SPA experience is hidden into the details of the property.
CHALLENGE: The vision to explore the magnificent potential through the proposed design, hoping to
evoke and demonstrate how remarkably space can be utilized comes to life with the
final outlook of the property.
A balance between the clients' desire and the designers' vision also blends perfectly
with the sophisticated architecture of the building.
