RESEARCH ABSTRACT: It is expected that the impact of this project will extend to the inheritance of local culture and the re-creation of the museum experience. The representational history of Taiwan is reproduced through the brushworks of Taiwanese artists. This project will contribute to local cultural tourism, creating social welfare, giving ethnic groups a sense of belonging and identity. Despite the viewers having different ethnic backgrounds, this installation can still let the users experience the layers of cultural richness. Using local cultural experiential design as the focus , create culturally synchronized sensory experiential designs.
CHALLENGE: Kuo Hsueh-hu’s artworks depict the early era of Taiwan. The cultural and historical scenes of Dadaocheng are preserved through his paintings to this day. The core of this project is to see the development of art and culture intertwined through the perspective of Kuo Hsueh-hu. This project not only changes the museum experience but also reproduces the historical and cultural scene, taking the viewers back in time to experience the everyday scenery, as well as, creating opportunities to empathize with the cultural sentiments of the generation.
