DESIGN NAME: Wa Lana Waqfa Brand
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Political Tv Show
INSPIRATION: The concept of the brand revolves around the “highlighting” part, where the first letter shed a light into the first letter of the second word, to convey the message of highlighting and exploring. The extended line at the end of the second word, represents the pause.
The package includes the studio (videowall), full frame designs, sting, wipe, opener, and closer. The opener ends without revealing the name of the show in it, instead the name appears in the wall inside the studio (that makes it continues and part of the show).
Our main shapes are all revolved around the spot light (diagonal shapes).
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Wa Lana Waqfa (let us pause) is a daily political show that focuses on a current affair topic of the news and expands on it. It shed the light on that event and analyze it in depth. The design team did a full rebrand of the entire show (opener, studio, in-show graphics, promo..)

CHALLENGE: To build a strong brand that can be easily updated on a daily basis (based on the content of today’s episode), we have created a system where the visuals can be updated easily (in 30 minuets), yet maintaining the brand essence.
