| DESIGN NAME: Marquina Gold PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tiles INSPIRATION: We know that the best things are reflected in nature, therefore Marquina gold draws from the combination of modernity and the world around us. A collection with abundantly scattered gold veining patterns, inspired by the grandeur of marble. The pattern tonality ideally reflects the intricate network of veins found in natural stone. The tiles will bring luxury where attention to the quality of the finishing material closely correlates with the achievement of an unrivaled atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Matt, structural and polished surface. Formats: 120 x 280, 120 x 120, 60 x 120, 60 x 60, 30 x 30 mosaic and 8 x 60 baseboard. The 6mm tiles 120 x 280 cm format with a stone structure. It's one of the most technologically advanced tiles with a deep structure, thickness of only 6mm and sparkling mica effect. It's possible to install the product on existing surfaces. Moreover, it increases heating system efficiency, offers various application possibilities (flexibility), can act as fireplace veneers. The product is 100% all natural. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: By investing in modern technologies, we begin to introduce increasingly larger tile formats. Thanks to the new LamGea technology, Cerrad was able to create the Marquina Gold collection, and to ensure the greatest freedom of design possibilities the collection now includes formats: 120 x 280, 120 x 120, 60 x 120, 60 x 60, which we enriched with the 30 x 30 mosaic and the 8 x 60 baseboard. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Marquina Gold collection has been available for sale since 2020. Its debut took place during the largest International Trade Fair of Ceramics and Bathroom Equipment - Cersaie, in Bologna. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In mass-dyed gres – a very durable and timeless material (group Bia). Because we use the latest technology, the tiles are extremely durable and resistant to ware and tear, which makes them ideal for use in any type of space. Thanks to the LamGea technology, we were able to obtain a deep tile structure and a perfect mimicry of the natural stone surface with a thickness of only 6mm. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: In mass-dyed, glazed, rectified gres with a structural and polished surface. Formats: 120 x 280, 120 x 120, 60 x 120, 60 x 60, mosaic 30 x 30 and baseboard 8 x 60. Format 120 x 280 with a 6mm thickness and a stone structure deserves special attention. High technical parameters and excellent aesthetics make these tiles very resistant with a low risk of cracking. Tiles are frost-resistant and have anti-slip properties, thanks to which they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. TAGS: Tiles, interior Design, Marble, Floor, Kitchen, Stoneware, Nature, Surface RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Testing was completed to confirm the tile performance parameters including, but not limited to: slip and frost resistance. The high quality of offered products has been attested to by affirmations, certificates and awards granted to the best manufacturers in the industry. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was choosing suitable natural resources and adapting the technology in such a way, where the surface of a 6mm thick tile ideally mimicked that of natural stone.
