DESIGN NAME:
The End Scenery

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Residential House

INSPIRATION:
In this case, the interior designer used certain details to ensure compartmental capacities as well as a finish of layers and to give a cozy, useful and pretty home to the family. In the phase of the unfinished residence, a combination of large windows and the lounge from the TV wall to the dining room brings the riverside scenery loved by the couple owners in while a contrast between the living room in light tones and the kitchen in dark tones used to pinpoint compartments and capacities respectively with a detailed texture of the wall materials as well as the main wall in the kitchen as a stable facade manages a homey mood and gives the family a secure comfy home despite the public zone too spacious with no partition.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The unfinished residence with the public zone too spacious as wide as a basket court with no solid walls structurally is filled with uncertainty and insecurity, but the interior designer attempted to give the family a cozy homey, comfy, breezy and modern home despite poor hardware in the first place and this is why this case is so innovative. Firstly, elevations made with diverse materials in details give coordinated aesthetics to the whole space; secondly, a natural and fancy look is given by light; and thirdly, a combination of capabilities of storage, showcase and a hidden door to the master bedroom given to the main wall in the dining room is an idea so innovative that gives a stable finish to the space.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
A combination of the tiled entrance floor and the fair-faced concrete wall embedded with the L-shaped LED lamp gives a rich look while a contrast between the terrazzo crossbeam and the white ceiling of the living room gives a style of layers, the wood grain flooring in the living room and the dining room gives a cozy comfy touch, a TV wall made with marble imitation boards brings art in, a combination of the gray-slate kitchen floor and the walnut slanting ceiling gives a composed feel, the ray-reflected gradient mosaic tiled cabinet shows subtle luxury, and titanium plating of the entrance screen, the TV wall, the kitchen island and the push door of the dressing room details a fancy look.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in November 2019 and finished in July 2020 in Taipei.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
A combination of large windows, the balcony with a bar, and a very long wood-grain lounge that links the living room and the kitchen brings in the amazing riverside scenery. Meanwhile, the light tones in the living room with a TV wall made of imitation marble boards give an artistic finish, and the kitchen in dark tones with a combination of a tilted walnut ceiling, a gradient mosaic tiled wall, and a kitchen island made of Silestone and titanium plating provides a layered finish.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
As for the owner, who is fond of living in nature, the interior designer not only brings the riverside scenery in through large windows but also lets the owner view the landscapes by relaxing on the lounge, cooking in the kitchen facing the window, or enjoying meals in the dining room near the window for a soothing and calming feeling at home. Meanwhile, the residence is so homey and comfy as each corner is filled with nature via lots of wood grain flooring in the open public zone for a tender touch of nature and lots of plants loved by the owner on metal racks in the corridor that stretches from the entrance to the dining room for a healing and soothing atmosphere.

CHALLENGE:
In a spacious residence of 67 pings, an interior designer needs to simultaneously bring the riverside scenery in while providing the family with compartmental capacities by detailing elevations.
