| DESIGN NAME: Astoria PRIMARY FUNCTION: Table Lamp INSPIRATION: Lighting fixtures offer unlimited options by carrying the determining effect of light in living spaces to the next level with their creative forms. Products that adapt to decoration with their mobile usage advantages have complementary features in the development of the spiritual relationship established with the space. The product group that is normally imported for the brand began to be designed inhouse by Astoria Table Lamp. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Astoria Table Lamp which has a combination of MDF, glass and brass is distinguished from others with its functional design. Astoria Table Lamp which draws attention with its USB charging input feature on its bottom plate as well as its touch on-and-off function, prepresents an innovative and aesthetic design concept. The notches created for easy processing of wood, pen holder, light refractions provided by the wavy form of glass and the luminous effect offered by metal added value to the product. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The black colored power cord of the Astoria Table Lamp is plugged into the socket and the energy connection is provided. At the connection point of the diffuser with the body, it is opened and closed gradually by pressing the button on the brass section. It can be dimmed to adjust the desired light level in line with the ambient light and user request. With its multi-functional structure, it solves many functions in a fixed area and prevents cable clutter. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design of the project started in January 2018, the first prototype was made in June 2018, 3 prototypes were exhibited at the Fair in November 2018, and went on sale in April 2019. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The product has CNC engraved MDF lighting base with USB charging port integrated. On top of this base, the gold closure metal parts hold the glass diffuser part of the product. The diffuser part is designed to prevent eye glare.Cable color is black. The integrated LED light source has 5W light power and 3000K Color Temperature. The product is touch-controlled, it can be dimmed.
