| DESIGN NAME: Neat PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional Blender INSPIRATION: We often find the shortcomings of daily necessities. Kitchenware is an indispensable item in modern life. Good kitchenware can save a lot of time and space. If many functions can be combined on one machine, it will improve the quality of life and meet the needs of modern people. The hand held stirrer and simplicity of the switch knob and single indicator is perfectly suited for the modern lifestyle; the interaction between the charging base and the blender is direct and simple. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Neat is a modern multifunctional kitchen appliance that combines both blending and mixing in an ultra-modern design. The neat uses wireless charging which is located in the base unit. Once charged the battery unit can be removed from the base and fitted to the attachments, and then used as a handheld blender or mixer. Accessories come in various sizes and types for example cups with different lid types, both portable and laminated. You can also add chopping and mincing knife or a whisk. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The project uses wireless charging which is located in the base unit. Once charged the battery unit can be removed from the base and fitted to the attachments, and then used as a handheld blender or mixer. To start the appliance, insert the battery which also doubles as the control, into the base, and combine the accessory you wish to use with a twist. You can also add chopping and mincing knife or a whisk. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began its design in August 2019, and completed the design of the appearance and mechanism in July 2020. At present, the basic electrical performance research and development and institutions are ready and can be made into finished products. The project won the muse design award in April 2020; the german design award in August 2020; and the iconic awards : innovative interior in November 2020. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In order to combine the attachments, it uses a plug and play system that is both simple and intuitive, and use the stainless-steel base enhances both the style and the appearance of the design, with clearly labelled switches and light displays. To start the appliance insert the battery which also doubles as the control, into the base, and combine the accessory you wish to use with a twist. Accessories come in various sizes and types, both portable and laminated. With a simple design and pure lean lines, it is ergonomic to use and making the product both fashionable and modern.
