| DESIGN NAME: Dr.Bei E3 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Electric Toothbrush INSPIRATION: Oral health is of the many important topics. The correct way to brush teeth is one of the fundamentals. We observed that a lot of people feel the same with common teeth brushing. But yet many people when comes to brushing teeth do not follow the teeth brushing method. Especially when finding the correct angle is much more difficult. Product designers tried designing the traditional brush handle that is designed with a cylindrical design, 45 degrees angled. While the user holds the brush handle, it can judge whether the brushing angle is corrected by the brush handle. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: E3 uses groundbreaking technology to help users brush their teeth correctly. Using 30°C to 36°C helps sensitive teeth problems and provides a more comfortable experience. E3's handle have the capability to change colors, which will let the customer know if the temperature is within the range for a comfortable brushing experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Before brushing teeth, the user can judge whether the water temperature is comfortable or not by using a brush handle to measure the water for brushing teeth. if the temperature is suitable, then the picture in the brush handle will show to the user from an eye view. When brushing teeth, the gradual strength engine will bring the user a gentle feeling, not output an uncomfortable feeling due to the high frequency of brushing teeth in the first experience. After starting to brushing teeth, the design of a 45-degree diamond shape brush handle can let the user find the correct brushing teeth angle of Bass Method easily, then can complete the whole brushing teeth process, and clean up dental plaque effectively which adhering to teeth. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The surface of color-condition temperature sense in brush handle adopts IMR technology.E3 utilizes IMR technology, making the color-condition temperature sense membrane adhere to the brush handle. The reason why choosing IMR technology is, as it can guarantee high effective mass production and the function of color-condition temperature sense membrane. Users can measure suitable brushing teeth water temperature by using the color-condition temperature sense membrane brush handle. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: Electric Toothbrush RESEARCH ABSTRACT: When the dental specialist recommends using the Bass Method of brushing teeth, this brushing method allows for better removal of plaque on the teeth and gum. We found out, through observational research and interviews with our users on their brushing behavior, that using the Bass Method requires a certain period of practice to get familiar with the method. Additionally, users are unsure whether they are correctly using the technique to clean their teeth and gum accurately. Thus with our electric sonic brush E3's 45-degree diamond-shaped handle design, we enable our users to naturally use the Bass method's recommended angle to brush their teeth, without a steep learning curve in order to achieve correct oral care.
