DESIGN NAME: Joyful Color
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Reusable Colored Pens
INSPIRATION: In view of the pollution of plastic, we hope the product can have the function of secondary utilization, so we design this work combined with the structure of the pen body
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The original intention of the design is to explore the sustainable use of recycled plastic pen shell as the material for children's toys. This children's colored pen shell can be reused. This design can let children create again after painting, let children from drawing two-dimensional works further into three-dimensional works, can exercise children's hands-on ability, and improve their spatial imagination.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: When using the brush, use the cap as normal, just like any other colored pen. After using the pen can be disassembled pen body, a pen will become a few columnar toy parts. Then you can freely create with the parts.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design project started in Shenyang in September 2020, completed in January 2021, and exhibited in the Art Museum of China syid Design Institute in January 2021.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Through the secondary use of the plastic color pen shell, the function is transformed. By carrying tools, the pen can be simply disassembled, and then the interspersed structure before and after the disassembled parts can be freely assembled.
