| DESIGN NAME: Time Capsule PRIMARY FUNCTION: Book Design INSPIRATION: Designer want to engage audience in a more dynamic narrative experience and help them at the same time to understand the book more easily. he make the pages independent and mark the page number on each paper, he burning the edge of the page and sprinkle white powder on the pages, which make it look like have long history as cultural relics. The text word size also designed too small to invisible on purpose, which is have to use magnifier to read. This unusual book design will guide the audience act like archaeologist to research the history. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The content of the book is about the history of graphic design. The book design inspired by archaeology. Designer make the book look like have long history as cultural relics. He choose unusual book design to guide the audience to wear dust prevention gloves and take up brush and magnifier, act like archaeologist to research the history. It is a book that requires the audience’s actions and also to be handled and experienced. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Designer did not choose the traditional book binding design. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Book Design includeing Typography Design, Layout Design, Graphic Design and Package Design. it's not the traditional book binding design. The book design introduces the concept of archaeology to make the audience have more fun interacting with this book. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 220 mm x Height 200 mm, 15 independent pages with package box.
