| DESIGN NAME: Alliance PRIMARY FUNCTION: Direct Print on Brushed Aluminum INSPIRATION: Through reading Annette discovered the book "Fountainhead&q UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In Annette's photography she is using the architect's creativity combined with her own to express what is important to her with enough room for the viewer to find his/her own meaning and vision. A manipulated visually calm sky sets the main focus on the buildings. The result is a direct print on brushed aluminum to enhance the feeling of architecture in photography, presented in a black metal art box frame ready to be hung on a wall. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The photo is printed straight onto the surface of a silver brushed aluminum Dibond panel. UV Fine Art pigments are used for this modern 7-color print for a matte finish. The bright parts of the image are omitted from the print, leaving the brushed aluminum visible for a unique metallic sheen. The shimmering look of the textured surface produces an exciting contrast to the intensely vivid color and precise detail of the print.
