| DESIGN NAME: Gentle Expression PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Space INSPIRATION: The essence of home doesnt have to decorate with gorgeous ornament; simple style is able to bring out the topic of human directly. The designer hopes to convey the life philosophy of low-key fashion with the combination of eco-friendliness, nature, and culture in the hustle and bustle city. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designer integrates the space with a natural and simple style. By combining the precise layout and building materials, the residential space is filled with modern aura. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: With a brand-new perspective to interpret life, cozy sentiment is principal, supplemented by culture and art. The life philosophy is hidden in the details and enriches the layers; fashionable taste intertwines with the sense of vacation. The warmness is built to be an exclusive and unique charisma with a modern but gentle style. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in December 2020 in Taichung, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Filled with the modern lines and the cold elements such as metal and glass, the space is added with wood to adjust the colour temperature. The layers of different areas are brought out with the use of different materials, and demonstrate the sense of rigidity and softness at the same time. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project is 201 square meter. TAGS: Residential, House, Interior Design, Space, Home RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Hidden doors are installed on the columns in the living room which is able to store the sliding glass doors and makes the space more transparent and open. The walls covered with veneers echoes the overall style, which achieves the harmony visual appeal and further emphasizes the ideal of greenery. CHALLENGE: The delicate sense of layers in the pure and warm wood tone creates a real-life style reflecting the spirit. The use of planting, natural lighting, and some other natural elements make the house owner and his children be able to bath in the pure environment, presenting the idea of eco-lifestyle. NAME: Yamspace Design PROFILE: Yang Jiun-Hua was born in Taichung City, Taiwan. He started to his part-time job for the furniture manufacturing industry since junior-high school. He spent ten years from work-study to development of furniture, finally to the interior design. In 2003, he set up the interior design studio named Yamspace. Its purpose "design comes from insist on it." Yang Jiun-Hua not only enjoyed each part, but also thank it brought the creative thought. Building a dreaming space is happy and moving. Design is not only an art appearance, but also an expression of improving the quality of life. The key point of design thinking is human that is until communication, absorption, transformation and finally practice. Design is to use the different thought, seriously to feel life, simply to present, which are just for touching their heart. There is an interior design studio named Yamspace which are more than 300 interior cases since 2003 in Taichung city, Taiwan. It includes interior design, marketing, engineering, CIS, business office design, renovation and so on. We believe that design comes from insist on it. |
