DESIGN NAME: Awaken The Queen Within
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wine Vessel
INSPIRATION: Nowadays, more and more women are serving important roles in their jobs. The purpose of this custom collection is to encourage them to project their emotions onto the goods and merchandise when they use it.
To bring out the spirit, the images of three famous queens in history are being used as a start in the idea, and it made to creating the possibility of three different emotions resonances, allowing the girls to build a strong image within.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design categorizes beer, red wine, and absinthe by emotion, and uses the images of the famous queens in history as the spokespersons of wine, making the stories behind the designs of the wine decanters full of storytelling.
With the combining of three completely different goods, girls who work hard for life can feel an emotional resonance in this collection, get an outlet for their emotions through the drinks and merchandise, and strong their will like a queen.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2020 in Taiwan Taipei and finished in
January 2021 in Taiwan Taipei, and was exhibited in Taiwan Taipei in September 2022.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This collection uses many hollow designs, which can show the gold of beer, red of red wine and green of absinthe against the glass, and use gold and black as a symbol of nobility in the background, creating an atmosphere of noble.
In order to satisfy the luxury and grandeur preference for female users, the product is designed with the concept of boutique, and the intricate design is used to emphasize the sense of ritual in use.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The images of three famous queens in history are being used as a start in the design idea and supplemented by three different personalities to create a distinctive design of wine vessel, including beer, red wine, and absinthe.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Hatshepsut, a famous ancient Egyptian pharaoh. Accordance with the artifacts she left behind, the elegant beer glass, barrels and ice tongs are designed. Wu Zetian, the only female emperor of China history, combining her characteristics with Chinese decorations, the exquisite wine glass, corkscrew, and decanter are designed. Irene of Athens, the first female emperor of Europe, combined her actions and the Byzantine characteristic, the exotic absinthe glass, spoons, and sugar bowl are created.
CHALLENGE: This collection use a more diversified perspective to shape the face of the historical figure, explore the deeper feelings of the historical figure, and overthrow the stereotypes of the historical figure, and attempts to take "independent, capable of self-development" as the core of the design concept, taking women as the starting point, combining historical patterns and development thread of thought, and then transforming them according to the analysis results to develop a series of products.
