PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Office
INSPIRATION: The inspiration of the project comes from Beijing Directorate of Imperial Academy, which was the highest institution in ancient Cina. On the premise of meeting the academic atmosphere, the classical Chinese academy style has been combined with modern style and together created a space with humanistic aesthetics and Chinese artistic conception. The layout imitates the ancient Chinese Academy. The space comprises a hall, corridor, negotiation area and sand table area. As a whole, it presents a scholarly and artistic space.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project has distinctive Chinese characteristics. The Chinese red has been chosen as the main color. The layout imitates the ancient Chinese Academy, and the materials are basically wood and ecological materials. The space comprises a hall, corridor, negotiation area and sand table area. As a whole, it presents a calm, scholarly and artistic space.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In a unique way to show the dynamic and static, sound and color of the environment, whether it is the external space or the internal space, all reflect the interesting creativity. The sales office is divided into two floors.The first floor is comprised by sand table area, model exhibition area, negotiation hall, VIP room children's area and bathroom. The second floor is comprised by office area and model rooms. On the right side of the sales office, the sales staff working area is located at the entrance side. The service desk is simple, and stable, with a strong sense of ritual, which makes customers feel solemn. Leading customers to the sand table area, they can have an enjoyable conversation in the antique and elegant atmosphere, the large space also makes customers not have a strong sense of pressure, and understand the project in a more relaxing way.
Taste a cup of tea, hold an ancient book, experience the mood of the ancients in poetry, feel the essence of life in Zen; retreat from worldly disturbance, put aside the troubles in life, and experience the freedom and purity of one's own life in a simple and quiet space.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in December 2019 in Beijing China and finished in March 2020.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Before the start of the project, a lot of research on ancient Chinese architecture had been done, especially the structure and style of Beijing Directorate of Imperial Academy. In the design, the combination of traditional Chinese architectural style and the function of the space itself were cambinedSo as to create an aesthetic and practical work.
CHALLENGE: Early stage of project design: consider the building facade and surrounding environment, and further understand the project in combination with local properties
Project design: fully consider the needs of our client for the project, on the premise of meeting the academic atmosphere, use modern methods to design and combine all elements and every detail, reflecting the solemn and elegant temperament of traditional Chinese interior design.
Early stage of the project development: in compliance with the safety rules and laws, the original building is demolished and reconstructed, so that the design concept can be successfully implemented.
