| DESIGN NAME: A8zk Steam Combi PRIMARY FUNCTION: Oven Range INSPIRATION: In Chinese cuisine, there are 26 cooking methods to make the best taste of food. However, as the kitchen area increasingly shrinks and the modern family kitchen is popularized, it is difficult to use Chinese cooking methods in the kitchen. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Seng A8 Steam Combi Oven Range, designed to meet diverse needs of users, integrates the functions such as kitchen ventilator, range, steamer and oven, and perfectly supports 17 cooking methods in modern kitchen, saving the space and offering the user unrestricted cooking experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A8zk is equipped with an intelligent ventilator-cooker linkage system which enables the one-key linkage. The touch screen control panel with 6-shfit air-speed control allows the user to operate the equipment visually and handily. The smoke baffle can be turned by 90 degrees to fully exhaust all smoke and prevent smoke overflow; the first-of-its-kind five-stage oil-fume separation technology can extract 98% oil in the fume, which significantly improves smoke extraction efficiency. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2019 in Shengzhou and finished in April 2020 in Shengzhou. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The product has elegant and simple appearance and dependable design. Its main color is highlighted by its black crystal glass and silver stainless steel, which embodies Chinese people's penchant for simplicity and staidness. Its dimensions are ergonomically designed to enable the most comfortable cooking space possible. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size is 900mm x 600mm x 1335mm. TAGS: Modern, Cooker, Stove, Steam, Elegant RESEARCH ABSTRACT: It is designed with a central symmetrical aesthetic, with perfect symmetry between left and right, reflecting a hint of tranquility, which fits perfectly with the Chinese pursuit of introspection and simplicity. The body dimensions are designed with reference to ergonomics, creating a comfortable space for cooking. In China, the colour black is similar to iron and has been used since ancient times to symbolise "rigidity and perseverance". The choice of black crystal glass as the main colour reflects the Chinese attitude of calmness and restraint and a strong will to live. CHALLENGE: In Chinese cuisine, there are 26 cooking methods to make the best taste of food. However, as the kitchen area increasingly shrinks and the modern family kitchen is popularized, it is difficult to use Chinese cooking methods in the kitchen. To solve this problem, this product needed to be designed to be modern and suitable for Chinese use, and this was the difficult part of the design.
