These were the existence casually that seen everywhere but have not been noticed. It is meaningful for design to clarify the beautiful appearance of life that has been created over a long period. In addition that this project concept is from ink paintings and "Sumi-e," folding screen painting in Japanese and Chinese art and culture.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project is to design a "Dignity" by photography. The subjects are trees that are trying to live and survive everywhere unnoticed by anyone in the city now. They have not said anything and made their appearance for a long time. So this project tried to design by photography for expressing these natural appearance in the white square framework as the most beautiful composition.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
This project has the background of ink paintings and "Sumi-e," folding screen painting. That objects are natural things that show the beauty in the four seasons, such as pine, bamboo, plum, flowers in the mountains and river. This project tried to express these forms by black and white photography as the most beautiful appearance in the square.

CHALLENGE:
The most difficult is to find objects in the city and to compose the best position to get the empty white background. To delete eliminate waste and discomfort, its appearance stands out more. This makes it possible to express of photography the abstract concepts of "Yugen" and "looseness"; in traditional Japanese art culture. This is challenging for new design's possibilities to fuse with Art and photography, the Western and Eastern concept.
