| DESIGN NAME: Cloud Residence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: This project is located in Xiang Yang, which is a famous historical and cultural city. The building uses a lot of curved surface modeling, and the landscape also has circle structure. This case takes the "rhythm of the ancient city" as the theme, turning an ancient music, witch sound into a colorful sphere, and swinging the rhyme layer by layer in the space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: From the entrance, customer go through landscape pool. They could see the beginning of rhythmic line. Following the rhythmic line, the whole space is getting open, and reaches climax in the sand table area. Vertical metal line as the base of space, built the feeling of the ancient city. White rhythmic line enwinds around vertical metal lines, expressing the concept "rhythmic ancient city". OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The sand table is hollow with special-shaped decoration to express the meaning of "bead" falling. Bright color and simple space background color form a strong contrast, very strong impact. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in December 2019 in Xiangyang and finished in July 2020 in Xiangyang. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Architecture, landscape and soft outfit are also harmonious with the interior space, which all have curved shape. With all different choices of materials, GRG is chosen to be the material to express white rhythmic line, to ensure complete expression of design. GRG is also an environmental and economical material. Glossy art paint is the finishes of GRG, and it shows great subtle gradations of light and shade. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 800 square meters. TAGS: Interior, Commercial, Sales Center, Curved surface modeling, Rhythmic line, Elegant, Artistic, Fashionable, Scientific, Technological RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The strange, treacherous and elegant tones of Wu Yin in ancient Chu, and the simple, rigorous and standardized structural form reflect the life mood and spiritual outlook of Chu people. In this case, the invisible musical beauty of witch sound is embodied, and the whole space form is like a beautiful and solidified melody falling on the water surface, and the beauty is magnificent. CHALLENGE: The relationship of all rhythmic lines is difficult point of this design. Every line has small difference and lying one on top of the other, which shows choppy magnificent spectacle as a whole. Vertical metal line is also designed in every detail. Half-arc and square are two forms, and Polishing surface and sub-smooth surface are two kinds, which bring rich experience for customers.
