| DESIGN NAME: Hello Papaya PRIMARY FUNCTION: Cafe INSPIRATION: In this project i decided to create jungle atmosphere using very simple and clean forms - abstract geometric shapes an meshes. The artwork with a disk-sun rising from the horizon of the rainforest, highlights a soft area with sofas. A large metal "cloud" above the counter sets the movement direction of guests and indicates the pick up area. Calm gray walls work as a monochrome background for the brand's rich colors and draw attention to decorative elements. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Hello Papaya in the SOK VTB Business center is the second branch of the fast food chain with European and Asian cuisine. The main brand focus is on the healthy food and bright tropical themes and interior underline it with bright and fresh colors, shapes and forms. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The interior is divided into three parts: - Fast bar seatings - Classic dining seating area - Comfortable sofa seating area. All logistics are built for the visitor convenience PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project started in the end of 2019, but realisation was paused due COVID 19 and it was finally done and opened only on July 2020. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials: Walls: Plaster, paint.. Floors: Handmade terrazzo tiles, pvc floors Decorative objects: Metallic frames with meshes. Furniture & Lighting: Delo Design, La Forma, Cosmo, Ledgo, Romatti, Barline. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Location: Moscow Area: 50m Year: 2020 TAGS: Cafe, restaurant, eatery, food, coworking, healthyfood, coffee, papaya, interior, mesh, terrazzo, plaster RESEARCH ABSTRACT: My approach is to find special atmosphere and interior concept directly to the place and project i work on. Interior is always theater and attraction. Here is teleport to tropical village under bright sun by very simple abstract decorative elements. CHALLENGE: Challenge was to build well designed place within small budget. So all the decor was made on demand from very simple and cheap materials. NAME: Hello Papaya PROFILE: Hello Papaya - coffee shop chain for mainly office workers. Branches are located in Moscow business centers and coworking spaces. Healthy food and delicious coffee, also just place for meetings and work. Main visual core of the business - bright rich colors. Brand philosophy is all about fresh, green and ecological. The menu combines European and Asian cuisine. The cafe offers a wide range of ready-made dishes: salads, breakfasts, hot dishes, sandwiches and soups. As well as delicious desserts and a large selection of drinks. |
