PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tea House
INSPIRATION: Mihoko Koyama is a Japanese collector and owner of the Miho Museum. She says "Cultivating the concept of beauty can enhance the quality of the mind." She believes that beauty can cultivate noble human emotions, enrich experience and change their lives.
As a designer, he came back from the Miho Museum with an idea: is it possible to make his own collection space, not as big as a museum, but can put his favorite tea ware, calligraphy and painting collection there.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Xi-Suo is a design based on interest and following designer's heart. It is also an expression of the designer's lifestyle and attitude, here integrates tearoom, space, branding, collection.... These are the most normal things and objects in his life and work, synchronized with his inner spiritual aspirations.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Step 1: the preliminary planning and design of space plane;
Step 2: draw the detailed space design scheme;;
Step 3: the owner confirms the overall design scheme;
Step 4: draw construction drawings and confirm the list of building materials and furniture;
Step 5: deliver the construction drawings.
Step 6: supervise the construction process until it is finished.
