INSPIRATION: The Design Concept was inspired by the train station, and we have created the fusion of Deco and Bauhaus styles to present such ideas. The entrance lobby is up-scaled patterns and bold ceiling features are there together to greet the customers as a station lobby. Entering the corridor represnting the idea of entering the train and going into the houses means going into the individual cabin, it serves as a transit platform for viewers to get prepared before going into cinema house.

By enchanted cinema experience, ARTTA designed a 80's train journey for the viewers. All theater have been designed with a different style, using similar colors of grey and beige fabrics and carpet; a touch of blue suede has been used to create a different character for each of the houses as different distination of the journey.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Due to the shopping mall is located in a new build district in Hong Kong, and this development invlove very closely to the Train System in Hong Kong, so that, we would like to include this idea into the cinema, however, not only providing a daily Local Train Experience, but a more refine Train Journey from Europe to the Hong Kongers!
CHALLENGE: To maintine the balance between an eye catching interior design but not creating distraction to the Audience while watching movie is very important, espectially under the very limited head room from the site.
So that we have created different anbience and mood in different space, the loobu would be the brightest zoom, the corridor is design to be the transition space and a secondary lobby. Lastly, we have created unique graphics and patterns without too much lightings decoration for each house as an Art-Like exhibition before the movie start.
