DESIGN NAME: X Power
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Design
INSPIRATION: Inspired by the client's own company identity system. The designer started the design process from integrating the company's strong public branding image into this interior space. The square site located at the end side of the office building with only one possible access at one corner also played a key factor for making this concept into reality. The design adopted the main colors of the brand visual identity to give each area a different look.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project emphasizes on researching a new way of office arrangement, which the idea of traditional office cubicles is relinquished. The open concept office area contains only six long large tables for flexible arrangement, as the client wishes to create a work space full of free spirit, inspiration, vitality, and fun.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The company's initial P and X is displayed at the entrance, as well as the whole floor layout. The large X diagonal works as the main pathway leading one corner to another. Each corner has its own special color as the colors from the company's logo. The green corner is the entrance gateway, with reception desk and a waiting area for the visitors. The red corner is the playful area for reboot the energy, in here the stuff might have a moment of rest. The blue corner consists four meeting room for a private group gatherings. The yellow corner occupies four rooms for supervisors.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2020 in Taipei and finished in July 2020.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research objective was to study and understand the culture of this particular client. Every well established company has its own traditions to fallow. This sort of shared-house concept in office design field would remain in a very low profile situation. Hopefully, with more new ideas made into reality, both the designers and the organizer will feel much more positive toward new ideas
CHALLENGE: This project has very limited operation time and budget. The construction on site has only less than four weeks, therefore the designers offer the solution by carefully choosing the materials available on the market with low costs to march the overall scheme and deliver the project on time.
