| DESIGN NAME: Jelly Fish PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smart mask INSPIRATION: In response to the normal state of wearing masks after the epidemic, we began to think about how to upgrade the current masks to help corporate society and individuals monitor infection status, protect the global environment and reduce waste of resources; How to leverage a frugal innovation to make the mask, a protective tool for long-term daily life consumption, to be affordable for most people and company? UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: JELLY FISH achieves real-time monitoring of body temperature module, which is a combination of mask and contact electronic body temperature module. This module is connected to the mobile phone app by Bluetooth connection, uploading the data of user's body temperature changes during the time period when the user is wearing. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Lighter filter of the mask is installed and replaced in a convenient way. While improving the easy use of the replaceable filter mask, it also ensures a seamless, sealing connection between the filter and the mask. Only one mold is used for mold development and production, because of the main body of the mask adopts two-color injection molding method, which improves the speed of mass production. It also is used to reduce production costs. Production efficiency and selling price of masks during the outbreak are life related. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 90×90×60 TAGS: Mask,intelligence,co RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The three-color LED light, green means good condition, yellow means temperature is increasing, and red means higher than 38 degree; these color with meaning are designed to give feedback of the temperature information as well as communicate the health condition with the surroundings. By showing the health condition of others intuitively, to remind people to maintain social distance and reduce the high-density gathering scenes, such as centralized body temperature monitoring, which brings hidden safety hazards. At the same time, using the Internet of Things technology, the wearing state and temperature of the user can be tracked. During the post-epidemic period, intensive labor and service managers are able to monitor the health status of employees in real time, and to find asymptomatic infected employees faster, avoiding virus spreading in the whole organization. At the same time, this function can also allow individual wearers to detect their mask wearing conditions in areas where the diseased person is confirmed. Therefore, user could make self-isolation in time, ask help from medical assistance, and reduce the risk of secondary transmission to their family and lover. CHALLENGE: By locally using the filter element, the area of the filter fabric is lowered to 20% of that of ordinary disposable masks, therefore improve the resource utilization. We also think about to extend the life cycle of masks. During the non-epidemic period, the temperature module can be removed and used as a separate contact electronic thermometer; the mask can be used as a lightweight haze mask. This design combines electronic equipment, IOT tracking tech and masks, upgrade mask to be full of intelligence and better functional value with affordable price.
