| DESIGN NAME: 4Leafs Beauty PRIMARY FUNCTION: Skincare Centre INSPIRATION: 4Leafs Beauty specifically targets mature female customers who focus on luxury beauty treatment experiences. This project aims to create a space that exudes sophisticated elegance and an understated sense of luxury, experimenting with texture and color to create sanctuaries of tranquility. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 4Leafs Beauty is housed in a Grade A commercial building in Hong Kong. At 2,200 square feet, 4Leafs Beauty consists of a lobby, office, staff room, 14 treatment rooms including 3 luxurious VIP rooms, a working pantry and a bathroom. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Upon entering the 4Leafs Beauty, customers discover two connected spaces, a vestibule with a working pantry doorway and a lobby where the reception counter is located. The working pantry is in the center of the beauty centre with 2 entrances. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2019 and opened to the public in May 2020 in Hong Kong. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To give a highly refined aesthetics, most of the design elements are custom made for every specific area. Rich warm tones, tweeds, raspberry red lacquer and brass accents along with silver pearwood panelling and burgundy wine leather upholstery, to add a sense of understated sophistication to the whole visual experience. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Area 2,200 square ft. All of our custom furniture, lighting and hardware are crafted by highly skilled crafters, which means every piece is one-of-a-kind. CHALLENGE: With limited space in Hong Kong, the main challenge is to reach the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
