| DESIGN NAME: Le Utopia PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential INSPIRATION: Design originates from life, while design shapes life. Overall design presents a modern and warm ambience. It integrates common belief and needs of the family members. An artful portrait of London marking their happy moments becomes a sliding screen door for the cabinet. The design integrates a wide-angle of open vision. Natural colours and pattern echo nature. The use of different materials provides a dynamic shift of moods and visual effects to cater to the preferences of each family member. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design strikes a balance between practical functions and aesthetics. It makes up deficiencies of original layout and makes the best use of space to meet the needs of daily life. Versatile design techniques create an interesting and unique style, offering a special visual gradient. It unites outdoor scenery with interior design. A careful combination of different furnishing materials and ornaments serves to differentiate each functional area in a subtle way. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May 2018 in Hong Kong SAR, China and finished in February 2020. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design adopts only healthy and eco-friendly environment materials. Premium materials meeting the most stringent international quality requirements are used. They are all VOC and asbestos-free, with extremely low formaldehyde level, less than the content in apples and cabbages. An advanced heat exchange system is introduced to maximize air convection and let in fresh air to maintain a high indoor oxygen level. To ensure the best results, it took nearly two years from design to completion. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project site measures 1977 sq.ft.
